Training Co-ordinator and Data Analyst

The Role:


To support the Senior Training & Compliance Manager by co-ordinating the delivery of mandatory training & accreditation courses to ensure that employees are trained to specification with the knowledge and information to carry out their job safely and to the highest quality standard and compliance requirements .


The Training Co-ordinator and Data Analyst will be responsible for:

  • Maintaining the training and accreditation database and development plans for individuals

  • Scheduling training courses, managing bookings and diary management for Trainers

  • Collating feedback to monitor effectiveness of training delivered

  • Analysing data to produce reports, dashboards and KPIs

  • Liaising with key stakeholders to identify gaps and expired training

  • Providing support with Smart Awards applications and updates

  • Supporting business development and identifying new growth opportunities

  • Promoting the Training Academy and available courses with the Local Education Authority, job centres and higher education organisations

  • Attending careers fairs as a representative of the Training team and networking events

  • Supporting the IQA compliance process, audit activities and document control

  • Preparing, maintaining & updating training materials with awarding bodies

  • Ensuring timely despatch of joining instructions for delegates

  • Ensuring classrooms are resourced including the set-up of IT

  • Producing certificates for delegates and registering course completion with awarding bodies

  • Liaising with Finance & Procurement and obtain purchase orders for resources

  • Providing general administrative support and dealing with general training enquiries

  • Support in the delivery of training as and when required in times of operational need

  • Adherence to Health & Safety regulations

The Candidate:

The ideal Training Co-ordinator and Data Analyst will have experience with the following:

  • Experience in a similar role

  • Competent in Microsoft Office

  • Demonstrable experience of PowerBI dashboards & spreadsheet analysis

  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to plan and priorities workload

  • Ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders

  • Experience with diary management

  • Full valid driver licence
